About Us

Join us for South Carolina’s first Virtual March in support of responsible reproductive health policies.

What is the Virtual March?

The Virtual March is an online rally in support of responsible reproductive health policies in South Carolina. It’s sponsored by Tell Them, an e-advocacy network which is a program of the New Morning Foundation.

How does it work?

The march will take place beginning at noon on March 23 until noon on March 24. During this 24-hour period, people who have signed up for the march will email their representatives, letting them know they stand with the majority of South Carolinians who support age appropriate, medically accurate sexual health information and access to counseling and clinical services.

How do I email my legislator? That sounds hard.

It’s so simple. Tell Them will send you a pre-formatted, pre-addressed email targeting your legislators on the morning of March 23. All you’ll have to do is hit “send.” Of course, you can edit and add your own comments to the email message. This is just our way of making it as easy as possible for you to participate.

Who can join?

Anyone can join the Virtual March. Just visit tellthemsc.org and follow the online instructions. It’s important that you complete the registration form completely, however, so we can send you the pre-formatted, pre-addressed email you can forward to your legislator on March 23.

Why do I need to participate?

Lawmakers are not fully aware that 80 percent of South Carolina voters are in favor of providing young people with age appropriate, medically accurate sexual health information. The Virtual March is an easy way people can let legislators know they support this issue and expect representatives to support responsible public health policies.

What difference will the Virtual March make?

The Virtual March will bring the issue of supporting responsible reproductive health policies to your legislators’ attention. It will provide a much-needed progressive influence on public health policy decisions. And it will create a safer, healthier future for the young people of South Carolina.

What else can I do to help?
